BIOREM Announces $2.2 Million in New Orders


GUELPH, ON, Jan. 2, 2013 /CNW/ - BIOREM Inc. (TSX-V: BRM) ("Biorem" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the recent receipt of four new orders totalling $2.2 million.

The largest order, exceeding $1.4 million, is for an industrial VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) and odour removal project in Moscow, Russia, which is the 5th order from this large European multinational client. Biorem has utilized its BiosorbensR proprietary biofilter media technology in the design of the five projects which is highly effective for this particular VOC emission.

Biorem was also awarded its 3rd order from a major petrochemical client in Brazil for a system to destroy odour and VOC emissions from a refinery waste water treatment facility.

Two additional orders for odour control systems within municipal waste water treatment plants in Canada and USA were also received. Each of the 4 orders are scheduled for completion in 2013.
