The Best Water in the World is « Québécoise »


MONTREAL, Nov. 19, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - An international jury of nine experts gathered in Barcelona on October 9th in the context of the Annual Global Bottled Water Congress elected DE L'AUBIER water, bottled by Maison Eau Matelo in Québec, as the Best Still or Sparkling Water 2012.

In its first year of commercialization, DE L'AUBIER, a fine water produced from maple sap in Québec, won the most prestigious prize of this international competition with 75 entries from 19 countries. The seven finalists in this category were waters from Spain, Chili, Denmark, Belgium, Switzerland, Mexico and Canada. The Water Innovation Awards competition is organized each year by FoodBev Media, an England group that brings together the elite of bottling companies from around the world.

DE L'AUBIER was also a finalist in the Best Bottled Water category at the 2012 InterBev Awards competition, among 170+ entries from 15 countries, the results of which were announced in Las Vegas on October 17 during the Annual InterBev Congress sponsored by the American Beverage Association. The 6 finalists in this category were waters from Switzerland, Chili, Saudi Arabia, Canada and United States. Nestlé Waters Pure Life Protect won with a water enriched with zinc.
