The Steel Tank Institute/Steel Plate Fabricators Association (STI/SPFA) has announced a new webinar to address the importance of proper maintenance of petroleum storage tanks, particularly in view of concerns associated with storage of biofuels, such as ethanol blends.
The webinar takes place December 18, 10-11:15 am Central time, and features industry expert presenters.
All storage tanks require maintenance to ensure the highest quality of the product stored and to extend the tank’s useful life. This Petroleum Storage Tank Maintenance webinar addresses topics such as why fuel quality standards are important, how owners/operators can inspect their tanks and remove accumulated water, and use of STI’s R111 Recommended Practices for Storage Tank Maintenance.
The webinar presenters include representatives from Innospec Fuel Specialties, Tanknology Inc., the State of Missouri tank program, and STI/SPFA.
