The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, in partnership with CropLife Canada, has released two educational videos on pesticide spray drift.

The videos aim to reduce spray drift incidents, which can negatively impact human and environmental health, by informing Ontario farmers about pesticide application best management practices.

The first video - "What is Spray Drift?" - highlights the various causes of pesticide spray drift. The second video - "Equipment and Methods to Reduce Spray Drift" - focuses on how farmers can modify equipment to reduce spray drift.

The videos will be made available to educators, pesticide safety organizations, sprayer manufacturers and retailers, agrichemical companies, and agricultural associations.

"These videos can help farmers strengthen their environmental stewardship," said Ontario Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Ted McMeekin.
