Leading safety trainers BC HAZMAT Management Ltd. have been selected as a finalist for the Business Examiner, Vancouver Island 2014 Business Excellence Awards.

Presentations will be on Thursday, January 23rd, during a Gala Dinner Event, at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre in the Hub City of Nanaimo British Columbia.

David Rogers, President of BC HAZMAT Management Ltd., stated that he “is proud of what BC HAZMAT and Staff have accomplished in the last decade, and is enthused with the new products and training services they have introduced.”

Rogers founded BC HAZMAT Management Ltd. 13 years ago. It is now Vancouver Island’s largest safety training facility.

Of note are the versatile and innovative Spill Trailers & Environmental Emergency Response Units developed by BC HAZMAT along with partners, West Coast Spill Supplies and Van Isle Container.  A video featuring the new product can be viewed at www.bchazmat.com, showcasing how they are designed specifically for responding to spills on land or on the shoreline where spill response equipment and supplies are not readily available. Because of their close proximity, the units allow for fast response to spills, saving time, and saving the environment.
