Call for abstracts for GHG measurement

The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) is issuing a call for abstracts for the International Greenhouse Gas Measurement Symposium.

The second annual symposium is being held September 8, 2010 to September 10, 2010 in Washington, District of Columbia.

The symposium will address GHG measurement issues and their role in current and future policies.

The A&WMA is looking for abstracts for presentations on GHG measurement programs, such as:

  • Measurement data-based modeling: bottom up and top down
  • Bottom up measurements
  • Fugitive GHG emission measurements at the source level (from industrial and agricultural sources)
  • GHG emission monitoring from stacks
  • Top down measurements: the state of the art global GHG monitoring
    system
  • Monitoring carbon dioxide emission from sequestration activities
  • Monitoring and integrating measurement data at regional scale

Abstracts of 300 words or less must be submitted to lbreese@awma.org by April 12, 2010.
