Barcode tracking system company Dynamic Systems Inc. has announced the release of ‘Equipment’ and ‘Toolroom’ software modules for fire and emergency medical staff.
The software checks gear and equipment out to trucks keeps track of hydro-testing and periodic maintenance under NFPA 1851. The program reduces the safety risks and potential health hazards related to turnout gear care, maintenance and repair of all equipment. The software enables one to centralize materials across all facilities and track items such as two-way radios, thermal imagers, PPE, tools, medicine, uniforms and computers, and know when preventative maintenance is due on all equipment and vehicles.
The software also includes an inventory function that will track consumable supplies and keep minimum /maximum levels and send alerts when items are due for purchase.
The system records all inspections, cleanings and repairs on equipment within a department. Now, all inventory is attached to each apparatus to help easily know how many parts should be ordered. The program also tracks all equipment checked out to other stations and monitor maintenance due on each piece.
Other software modules include Stockroom, Capital Assets, ID Badge Systems, and Document Tracking. Because all programs are integrated, additional modules can be added with the click of a button.
