Kansas-based Geoprobe Systems is hosting an open house today (April 24, 2014), in part, to demonstrate its newest high-tech drilling machine for interested parties in the midwestern US.
The machine is the Geoprobe 8150LS Rotary Sonic, which can rapidly produce deep monitoring well installations in soil and rock subsurface conditions. Equipped with the GV5 Sonic Oscillator and a new 50k class drill head, the machine is a welcome addition for field operators.
In Canada, Toronto-area-based subsurface technology supplier, GroundTech Solutions, represents Geoprobe Systems for the industry’s northern market. GroundTech, which also operates out of Red Deer, Alberta, works with contractors, engineers and regulatory bodies that operate in the field, whether it’s for soil or groundwater sampling, or site remediation.
GroundTech is eager to get the word out about the new Geoprobe 8150LS Rotary Sonic, a system complete with new platform and power plant for 8×10 sonic sampling.
