The Ontario Environment Industry Association (ONEIA) knows that dealing with contaminated soil is a significant challenge forthe province. Millions of dollars in development – and the quality of life in communities – hang in the balance. Where is Ontario going on this issue – and what do industry practitioners and regulators think? How can relationships be more productive for all concerned?
Since the release of new management practices by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change earlier in 2014, industry has been grappling with questions about how best to comply with them. To address this issue – and to share information among soil and Brownfields practitioners – the Ontario Environment Industry Association (ONEIA) is convening a special morning dialogue session. Senior experts from the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change will be on hand along with a range of senior industry practitioners to present information, answer questions and engage in an open dialogue.
