The Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) has awarded Certification Maintenance Program (CMP) points for attendance at the November 7 to 8, 2012 International Sites and Spills Expo at the International Centre in Toronto.
Earn 1.0 CMP credit by registering now at www.sitesandspills.com/register and get the latest industry tips and scoops from environmental leaders in hazardous materials and remediation. The full conference and expo includes over 65 exhibitors, 40 speakers in 30 sessions in four tracks covering Clean Technology, HazMat Management, Oil & Gas and Remediation.
On average, Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (CRSPs) are required to earn a minimum of five CMP points per year.
Established in 1976, the BCRSP serves to protect the public through the certification of qualified occupational health and safety (OHS) professionals. BCRSP operates the CMP point system to assist CRSPs in keeping pace with changes affecting professional OHS practice. The points accrue on a calendar basis by CRSPs certified with the board.
The 2012 International Sites and Spills Expo is a full conference and tradeshow focused on the latest hazardous materials management techniques, cutting-edge clean technology in soils management, remediation and cleanup management in the oil & gas industry, and current legislation and issues.
Keynote presenters include Cory Chalmers, CEO and Founder of Steri-Clean, Inc. and featured expert on A&E’s hit series Hoarders; Gordon McGuinty, author of Trashed, shares his experiences and how business is impacted by politics, environment and the media; and David McRobert, environmental lawyer and author, explores the evolution of environmental approvals systems in Canada.
