Professional technical and management support service company AECOM
has announced that Harry Kim has joined the company as a regional senior vice president and business leader for the company’s Canadian environment division.
Kim will be based in AECOM’s Burnaby office in British Columbia.
With a strong background in the natural resources industry, Kim brings more than 30 years of international experience to the role. His technical expertise includes environmental site assessments, hydrogeology, environmental risk management and remediation.

Previously a general manager with with Ausenco North America, Kim has held senior leadership roles with Kimack Consulting and Tetra Tech. Kim was also the founding partner of CPG-Franz Environmental, where he served as the company’s president from 1988 to 2008.
As a project director, Kim has been responsible for delivering more 2,000 environmental assessment, remediation and industrial and commercial construction projects at large airports, industrial and commercial sites, petroleum terminals, service stations, rail yards and landfills across Canada.
Kim earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering, from the University of Western Ontario. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineer and Geoscientists, British Columbia. He is regularly called upon as a technical expert in his various areas of expertise in risk management, environmental legal support, insurance claims resolution and contaminated site assessment and remediation.
